If the problem can’t be solved over the phone, your equipment can be transported to an L.A. Turbine service center where our team will perform a complimentary hands-on turboexpander evaluation.
Hands-on Investigative Equipment Assessment
When an equipment or operational issue can’t be resolved via the phone, L.A. Turbine will take the diagnostic session one step further and offer a hands-on turboexpander evaluation of the equipment to uncover the root cause of the problem. This evaluation can occur at our service center or at your plant location. Upon receipt of your turboexpander equipment at one of our L.A. Turbine service centers, a comprehensive review of all components and auxiliary parts will be conducted at no charge. The diagnostic process involves a detailed look at every component of the unit resulting in a detailed findings report containing written and photographic documentation and corrective action recommendations. Or, if you prefer to have your equipment evaluated on-site, a field service representative will visit your plant location. On-site visits by L.A. Turbine service personnel will be billed at field service labor rates per our standard rate sheet.
L.A. Turbine can provide a failure analysis service on request from customers who have experienced unusual or premature equipment failure. The focus of this service is to determine the root-cause of the failure such that preventative measures can be taken prior to repair/reinstallation of the equipment. Failure analysis is also available on-location upon request.
