L.A. Turbine ships two new Turboexpanders and receives orders for two new Turboexpanders in a week!
The L.A. Turbine team has successfully tested and shipped two standard L2000 and L3000 Turboexpander/Compressor units. These mid-size Turboexpander/Compressor units are packaged with a PLC based control system, a lube oil auxiliary system, and an air fan cooler. Both the machines were designed, made and tested in U.S.A, and will see their operation at gas processing plants within U.S.A.
The first machine is optimized for four different process conditions to handle the flow range between 120 to 140 MMSCFD. This machine provided test results achieving overall 84% expander wheel efficiency and 75% compressor wheel efficiency. The second machine is optimized for four different process conditions to handle the flow range between 52 to 105 MMSCFD. This machine provided outstanding test results achieving overall 86% expander wheel efficiency and 79% compressor wheel efficiency.
And yes, we are very pleased to announce the two new Turboexpnader orders! The first order is L.A. Turbine’s standard L3000 frame Turboexpnader/Compressor unit with oil bearing system, full PLC control and spare Mechanical Center Section (MCS), and the second order is L.A.
